And the Baseball God spoke these words: "I am the Lord of this Game. Let there be the New York Yankees." And the Lord saw that they were very, very good (and still are). But the Baseball God saw that the Yankees were lonely, and thus he created the Boston Red Sox. And the Lord saw that they were a worthy adversary. And thus the Lord spoke these words...

1. Thou shalt choose a side. Forever.

2. Thou shalt not accept bandwagon fans.

3. I am your announcer. You shall have no other announcers before me.

4. Honor thy baseball forefathers.

5. Keep holy Opening Day.

6. Thou shalt hate the jersey.

7. Thou shalt win at all costs.

8. Thou shalt worship surprise call-ups.

9. Thou shalt not watch games with the enemy.
